The 3 Rotary Clubs in our community Cross Timbers, Norman and Sooner Rotary Clubs, once again held their fundraising event Le Tour De Vin this past weekend. As last year, Thunderbird Clubhouse was the beneficiary.
It was a lovely event and plenty of fun. Friday night was at the home of Mark and Megan Moore. Benvenuties catered the contemporary cowboy cuisine of bar-b-que and the fixins'. It was tasty! Republic supplied the wine for Friday and Saturday--they showcased many of their lovely products.
On Saturday, the event was at the Stadium Club at Owen Field. Again Republic supplied the wine as well as information about many of the live auction items. Twenty restaurants provided food that was amazing! The live and silent auctions were quite successful and lively.
Thunderbird Clubhouse so appreciates all the hard work by Rotarians, the sponsors, donors, and volunteers. Thank you Norman community for coming out to support the event !
